Assessment of lectinic activity potentials in extracts of some tropical Euphorbiaceace

چکیده
Lectins bind a variety of cells having cell surface glycoprotein or glycolipid, such as erythrocytes, leukemic cells, yeast and several types bacteria. Several specificity groups have been identified mannose, galactose, N-acetyl glucoseamine, galactoseamine, L-fucose neuraminic acid. The presence two more binding sites for each Lectin molecule allows the agglutination many type. Sixteen (16) species some tropical Euphorbiaceae plants were assessed Lectins. leaves Acalypha torta, wiskesiana, hispida, Codiaeum variegatum, Euphorbia milli, pulcherima, Jatropha curcas gossypifola; seeds Croton tiglium, Ricinus comminus Tetracarpidium conophorum; stem tirucalli tubers Manihot esculenta (Cassava, vitamin A variety), (cassava, NR 8082 TMX 419 4(2) 1425 variety) used sourcing A. C. E. tirucalli, J. curcas, gossypifola, R. T. conophorum agglutinated pooled washed human ABO in saline (direct haemagglutination) while hispida four varieties M. showed no reaction. pulcherima B only O only, hence could be rightly indicated by referring to them anti-B Ep anti-H Et respectively (where Ep=Euphorbia Et= tirucalli). However torta cross-reacted with differing strengths when standardized, that at titre 16 reacted specifically 128 cells. Based on this, these At Tc (Where At= Tc= conophorum). protein content crude extracts sixteen also assayed using Biuret assay method results revealed there are relation association between quantity patterns extracts. This research has therefore succeeded revealing Lectinic properties Euphorbiaceae.

detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts
in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...

heteropoly acids (hpa) and their salts have advantages as catalysts which make them both economically and environmentally attractive, strong br?nsted acidity, exhibiting fast reversible multi-electron redox transformations under rather mild conditions, very high solubility in polar solvents, fairly high thermal stability in the solid states, and efficient oxidizing ability, so that they are imp...

the present study sought to investigate the role of dynamic assessment (da) in improvement of iranian efl writing performance at different language proficiency levels. to this end, after conducting the quick placement test, 60 iranian efl learners were assigned to two groups with different language proficiency levels. in both groups each participant wrote two compositions, one before and one af...
assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
